Our family owned and operated business was started in 1960 in New Ulm, Minnesota. We became known throughout the upper midwest as New Ulm Foundry Co. In 1970, due to the need for expansion, the foundry was moved to Madison, Minnesota, our present location. In 1976 the name was changed to Municipal Castings Inc. (or MCI ) which more accurately reflects our product line.

As the current name implies, our function and purpose is to produce castings for the construction industry. Our goal is to produce the highest quality castings at competitive prices with a strong emphasis on prompt delivery. Our customer base stretches from Reno, Nevada to Boston, Massachusetts and International Falls, Minnesota to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are constantly updating our production efficiency as well as diversifing our product capability.

With three sons currently involved in every aspect of the business, it is our intention to continue providing you, our customer, with the quality service you have come to expect. Your patronage is sincerely appreciated.
